Los Angeles Homeless & Typhoid Pandemic Here Now

Commentary Reflecting Modern Craziness by Mitch Santell

Here in downtown Los Angeles things are getting worse as more and more reports come out regarding terrible conditions for homeless people here who have nowhere to go.

People like to think of Ebola as a disease that only strikes superstitious locals in the deepest jungles of the Democratic Republic of Congo. But just like the last time the disease made it to our shores, there are warning signs and it’s time to start paying attention.

There are several events in the news that when looked at together, lead to concerns we could be looking at a replay of 2014.

This Ebola outbreak has no end in sight.

The outbreak has become the second-deadliest in history, behind the West African one from 2014-16 that killed more than 11,300 people.

As of April 15, the outbreak has claimed 821 lives. The total case number is 1273.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — An outbreak of flea-borne typhus has hit downtown Los Angeles, the county Department of Public Health said Thursday.

Health officials say they are investigating several cases of flea-borne typhus, a disease that infected fleas can spread to humans. While the fleas can come from cats, rats, and opossums, pets and animals do not get sick from typhus.

In people, however, typhus can cause high fever, chills, headache, and rash. It is not transmitted from person to person and can be treated with antibiotics.

Chemtrails And Aluminum Harm Heart, Lungs And Plants

Guest Posting by Ted Twietmeyer

Climate-Remediation
Picture of Spraying Over Colorado 2019.

Chemtrails which are known to contain heavy metals such as barium oxide and aluminum oxide, are known to be a bigger problem than once thought. Others have researched chemtrails at great length, but may not have known about the negative effects on ecology, the environment and human beings which have recently been discovered.

This essay is meant to create awareness, not panic.

Have you ever been standing at a gas station pump, waiting for your vehicle to fill up out in the country in what you thought was clean, fresh air? Did you also notice the top surface of the pump housing may have been covered with rough grey dust? Much of that material can be from chemtrail fallout from aluminum and barium oxide. What goes up, must come down. And all of us are breathing it. Sickness almost always visits communities within a 1-3 days after the spraying has taken place. Headaches, coughs that won’t go away, sore throats and head and upper chest congestion are not uncommon. Your body does not want this metal embedding itself in your respiratory tract. It becomes an irritant.

Recent research shows that aluminum oxide which is a heavy metal, can do far more damage to human beings than once thought. The metal can also affect plants, and is far more insidious than once thought.

cancer lungs

EFFECTS OF ALUMINUM OXIDE ON HEART AND LUNGS

A paper written by Wardle, Lee, Akester, and Braithwaite at Thiokol Corp. warns of hazards from aluminum oxide nanoparticles. In their paper, they express concern that epidemiological studies suggest an association between inhaled ambient particulate material and adverse cardiopulmonary (heart and lungs) effects. The mechanisms related to this toxicity are still unclear. Their paper shows methods to control ultra-fine particles, to limit inhaled nanoparticles in humans.[1]

EFFECTS OF ALUMINUM ON ECOLOGY

Is the government silent about the negative effects of aluminum? From the EPA website, we read the following about acid effects and aluminum. The 22-page paper contains numerous references to scientific papers which are available at the EPA website:

“Acid deposition can occur in the wet or dry form and can adversely affect aquatic resources through the acidification of water bodies and watersheds. Acidification of aquatic ecosystems is of primary concern because of the adverse effects of low pH and associated high aluminum concentrations on fish and other aquatic organisms.”

“Aluminum which can be toxic to organisms is soluble at low pH and is leached from watershed soils by acidic deposition. Acidification may affect fish in several ways. The direct physiological effects of low pH and high aluminum include increased fish mortality, decreased growth, and decreased reproductive potential. The mechanism of toxicity involves impaired ion regulation at the gill. Population losses occur frequently because of recruitment failure, specifically due to increased mortality of early life stages. Changes at other trophic levels may affect fish populations by altering food availability.”

Now let’s focus on a solution, shall we? Here is a video I found today. There are a lot of people that I know here in Southern California that are having issues with coughing. Maybe this will help. Take a look at the video and then click on the link. No, I don’t sell this product but I do think it may help. Peace to you all.

Let me know if you have good luck with this remedy. I plan on getting some myself.

Knowing When It Is Time To Say Goodbye

Commentary About Friendships and Relationships by Mitch Santell

breaking-bread
Are you still breaking bread?

Connections with people are very funny things, aren’t they? Sometimes you meet someone and you feel like you have known them their whole life while others are more like passing ships in the night. Throughout our life, we meet so many people who are either positive, negative or neutral to who we are.

The ability to maintain friendships has never been easier because of social media and yet I know so many who are hurting, it comes down to breaking bread together. In our family, we always broke bread together. From the time I was small, I was even taught the importance of breaking bread in business.

saying goodbye save your life

When we were younger, we cycled through our interactions quickly: best friends, friend groups, relationships even. As we mature, unimportant relationships and friendships have fallen away and the few close ones have withstood the test of time. Along the way, you’ve probably let go of someone you never thought you’d say goodbye to. You’ve probably let go of someone you never wanted to say goodbye to.

It’s easy feel possessive of the people you love. The two of you have spent so much time together, bonded over silly and not so silly things, made a deep connection in a world full of so many people. So when it ends — whether it’s mutual, for good reasons, or just a slow fade — it just doesn’t feel right. But it happened and you’ll come to terms with it eventually. I never like the term letting them go or moving on. Especially since I loved them so deeply, it just didn’t make sense to me. Over the years I’ve realized that it’s not cutting someone off, it’s just loving them quieter.

Loving someone is usually loud. It’s tight hugs, late night calls, laughing candid photos, “I miss you” texts in caps. Learning to love quieter is actually not doing these things that once showed them that you care. It’s actively not doing these things, because you care. You care about their well-being, and allowing them to walk away if all has been said and there is nothing more to salvage. So you begin loving them from a distance.

You start with texting them less. You get the urge to when you pass by their favorite coffeeshop, see someone with the same dress as them, mundane things that used to be normal. You stop liking their social media posts or even looking at their feed because it just hurts. You want to be angry. You want to scream and yell and make them understand how much it all just sucks, but you know deep down it’s only because you care so much. So swallow that anger, it’ll pass.

“What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step.”  —  C.S. Lewis

When asked how he writes so fast, Stephen King answered, “One word at a time.”

This is the kind of answer that no one believes in. And the fact that there’s an abundance of related cliches doesn’t help either.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Or something like that. The Great Wall of China was built by laying one brick after another.

It is not the mountains to conquer that make you give up, but rather the pebble in your shoe.

All cliches. Terrible, terrible cliches that we can’t help but fear and loathe at the same time.

Want to know why?

Because they are so damn true.

PewDiePie Joins Dlive Streaming

Live Stream Reflections by Mitch Santell

PewDiePie has made it official. He is expanding his show by joining forces with Dlive for a weekly live-streamed show.

pewdiepie Joins Dlive
#1 On YouTube with Over 90+ Million Subscribers

PewDiePie, the world’s most popular YouTuber by subscriber numbers, has joined blockchain-based live streaming platform DLive.

The 29-year-old Swedish content creator, real name Felix Kjellberg, has signed an “exclusive” live streaming deal with the platform, DLive announced Tuesday. His YouTube channel has 93.7 million subscribers at press time, with his most recent video racking up 4 million views in less than 24 hours.

Starting April 14, PewDiePie will stream weekly on DLive,a decentralized community built using the Lino blockchain, according to the announcement. On his official DLive channel, PewDiePie also said that he will support content creators on the platform by donating up to $50,000 to a maximum of 100 creators.

According to online sources, the YouTube star is the platform’s ninth biggest earner, taking $15.5 million in 2018. A seven-year-old toy reviewer called Ryan tops the list with $22 million in earnings.

DLive rewards both content creators and viewers using its native token, “Lino points.” While some platforms take up to 50 percent of creators’ income, decreasing the “viability and livelihood” of the community, DLive takes no percentage of earnings and does not charge any fees to content creators, the platform said.

Lino Network co-founder Wilson Wei commented:

“DLive is a place where instead of competing against each other, it benefits creators to support one another. With no platform cuts, we incentivize everyone to create the highest quality content for viewers.”

Lino raised $20 million in February 2018 to build a “YouTube on the blockchain” in a private token sale led by ZhenFund.

The fight for Freedom of Speech and Censorship is right here in America. I know deep in my soul since I lived in New Zealand.

Europe is ideally positioned to explode with revolution. America may go the same way at the end of Trump’s 2nd term.

Life Shrinks Or Expands In Proportion To One’s Courage ~ Anais Nin

Reflections On The Miracles All Around Us by Mitch Santell

AfterHollywood Anais WM

There are so many people who just see death and destruction all around them. What do I see? What I always see, all of the possibilities and miracles that happen all the time. Life sort of has a way of working out if you will let it.

The biggest question you have to ask is:

Can you get out of your own way?

There are too many cracks in the Dam for you to stop working toward your own dreams and goals. You already lost what you needed to lose so that you could have the space to make bigger things happen.

Feel stuck?

Answer:

No worries, make a list of all the stuff that you don’t want to do.

Now you are half way there!

You don’t need to get anyone’s permission, just stay in action as it is always better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.

Now here is something that Caitlin Johnson wrote about why people will never rebel. May this be great food for thought!

Our predicament is simple to describe.

Since the dawn of civilization, powerful individuals have controlled the stories people tell themselves about who they are, who’s in charge, how a good citizen behaves, what groups should be loved, what groups should be hated, and what’s really going on in the world. When you study what we call history, you’re mostly just reading the ancient proto-propaganda of whatever kingdom happened to win the last war during that period of time. When you study what we call religion, you’re mostly reading stories that were advanced by ancient governments explaining why the people should be meek, forgiving taxpayers instead of rising up and killing their wealthy exploiters.

This continues to this day. We fill our children’s heads with lies about how the world works, how the government works, how the media works, and, on a deeper level, how their own consciousness works,and the entire process is shaped to funnel power toward the people who control our stories. The modern schooling system waslargely formed by John D Rockefeller, widely considered the wealthiest person in modern history, in order to create generations of docile gear-turners for the industrial plutocratic machine. Modern schooling is essentially mainstream media in a building; it promotes authorized narratives day in and day out to ensure that children will have a reaction of cognitive dissonance and rejection when confronted with information which contradicts those narratives.

Freedom Of Speech Is A Precious Gift

Freedom of Speech

Commentary by Mitch Santell

Regardless of what anyone tells you, there is no more precious a gift than Freedom Of Speech. For so many of us here in America, our form of this specific freedom are the millions and millions of blog postings we put up each day expressing different points of view.

The mainstream media in America has lost its mind since the 2016 election.

Even though I have been a traditional moderate democrat since I turned 18 in 1975 in 1980, I became what is known as a “Ronald Regan Democrat.”

Interest was at 21%, and gas prices were too high, and America was dealing with the hostage crisis in Iran.

Are you old enough to remember those times?

There was one bizarre thing that happened after I voted for Ronald Reagan and he took the oath of office.

Do you want to know what it was?

Here is my take on this and I remember it like it was just yesterday:

Since the Democrats lost the White House in 1980, the party as a whole, became “sore losers.”

The reason that so many moderate and conservative Democrats voted for Ronald Reagan was they did not want to high-interest rates. The general public was tired of high gas prices. President Reagan ran for public office by promising to reduce regulations on business.

Does this sound familiar? President Trump, like President Reagan, got rid of regulations to help a business succeed.

In 2019, there is no such thing as being a moderate Democrat. These people don’t exist anymore. Where have these people gone?

They all switched to the Republican Party even if they are a RINO (Republican In Name Only). They have become independents, or they are looking for a new party to join.

Freedom of Speech is so precious to the American DNA that if you are in Europe, Asia, Russia or even in the middle east, the real fight is here in America, and it’s a fight for ideas.

Want to know what is really happening in the Venezuelan Capital?

Representatives of 85 Countries Arrive to Caracas for Peoples’ Assembly ~ The activity will bring together more than 500 representatives in the Venezuelan capital from February 24 to 27

On February 23, delegations from 85 countries began to arrive in Caracas to participate in a meeting in solidarity with Venezuela as part of International Peoples’ Assembly (IPA). The meeting will take place from February 24 to 27. At a press conference on Saturday, the members of the coordinating committee of the Assembly discussed the details of the meeting and its organization.

Whats happening in Venezuela?

João Pedro Stedile, member of the National Board of the Landless Rural Workers’ Movement (MST), and coordinator of the Vía Campesina International, said that the date chosen for the event symbolizes solidarity with Venezuela, which is a target of attacks from neighboring governments and the United States.

“We are here, the coordinating commission of the International Peoples’ Assembly. For the last two years we have been preparing for the Assembly and we decided that it be held here in Caracas, on this date, as a form of solidarity from all of the organizations in the world with the government of Nicolás Maduro and with the Venezuelan people,” noted Stedile.

Struggle in defense of life

The representative of Spain, Marga Ferré, affirmed that although European governments have openly defended an intervention in Venezuela, this is not the position of the majority of the citizens of these countries, who reject violence as a form of solution to conflicts.

“The people of Europe do not want a military intervention, and part of what we will debate in the following days is how to build an agenda of solidarity with Venezuela and work on this in Europe. Something we believe in strongly is that every people has the right to be governed how they want,” she highlighted.

Representing the United States, Claudia de la Cruz, member of the Popular Education Project, termed the position of the government of Donald Trump as “immoral” and highlighted the contradictions in the discourse about the “humanitarian crisis” in the Latin American country.

“It is embarrassing, it is criminal and immoral that the United States – a country where 140 million poor people live, where 6 million live with hunger daily – comes and tells Venezuela that there is a humanitarian crisis. Venezuela has the resistance and the defense of the revolution that permits the redistribution of riches to the most poor, the most dispossessed. Venezuela does not have a humanitarian crisis. In Venezuela, there is a struggle in defense of life. The United States cannot say this. Venezuela is an example of the struggle for dignity of all of the peoples of the world and that is why we are here,” she said.

The International Peoples’ Assembly is taking place at a moment when the government of Venezuela is being pressured by other governments of the region, above all Colombia, Peru and Brazil, in addition to the administration of Donald Trump. Dozens of heads of state have recognized the self-proclaimed interim president of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, who made a failed bid to bring ‘aid to Venezuela on Saturday. Saturday also saw attempts by opposition activists to create tension in the border region under the pretext of delivering this ‘aid’. The government of Nicolás Maduro, reelected in May 2018 for a new term of six years, has rejected the entrance of the shipments, and has termed it a Trojan horse that will open the road for foreign military intervention.

Southern California Public School Chaos

Shared on Facebook by a teacher in California who sees firsthand the destruction of America.

“Nine hundred teachers just got laid off from the Los Angeles Unified School District. They are $650,000 over their annual budget. The following comments by an English teacher help to explain one area that looms large over California’s educational crisis. I hope each person receiving this mail will read it carefully, all the way to the end.

It is sad what is happening to our great country, all because our politicians are afraid they will miss out on a vote. What a travesty!

This English teacher has phrased it the best I’ve seen yet and it should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent.

hollywood-high-school-crime

From a California school teacher…

As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of: I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title-1 school, meaning that its students average in the lower socio-economic and income levels.

Here is a list of Title 1 Schools In California:

Title-I-School-List

Most of the schools you are hearing about are Compton, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc., where their students are protesting – these are also Title-1 schools.

Title-1 schools are on the free-breakfast and free-lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I’m not talking about a glass of milk and a roll. But a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make the Marriott proud.

The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (Our tax dollars at work!)

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more have cell phones.

The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids (More of our tax dollars at work!)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department, or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything.

My budget was already substantial, but I ended up buying new computers for the Computer Learning Center, half of which, one month later, were carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America. (More and more of our tax dollars at work!)

I have had to intervene several times for young substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less than 3 months, who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them putas (whores) and throwing things, that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical care, free education, free food, free day care, etc., etc., etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled not only to be in this country, but also to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society, because they happen to like their gardener and/or housekeeper, and they like to pay less for tomatoes, I say:

Spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the true costs. Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases, etc., etc., etc. For me, I’ll pay more for tomatoes.

Americans, we need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won’t have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by age 15, and that refuses to assimilate, plus an American culture that has become so weak and worried about “political correctness”, that we don’t have the will to do what is needed.

If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know including your Congressman and Senators.

Cheap labor? Isn’t that what the whole immigration issue is about? Business doesn’t want to pay a decent wage. Consumers don’t want expensive produce. Government will tell you “Americans don’t want the jobs”.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase “cheap labor” is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as “cheap labor”.

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an income tax return, he gets an “earned income credit” of up to $3,200 free.

Also…

1- He qualifies for Section-8 housing and subsidized rent;

2- He qualifies for food stamps;

3- He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care;

4- His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school;

5- He requires bilingual teachers and books;

6- He qualifies for relief from high energy bills;

7- If they are, or become aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI;

8- Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare (All of this at taxpayer’s {our} expense);

9- He doesn’t worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowner’s insurance;

10- Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material;

11- He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits;

12- Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his;

13- The American taxpayers also pays for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

14- Free Child Care (i.e., free babysitting from 6 AM – 6 PM

15- Free ‘mommy makeovers’ after having their children ( includes: tummy tuck and breast lift)

Cheap labor? Yeah right! Wake up people!

These are the questions we should be addressing to the Presidential candidates for either party. We must take action or we will all go down the drain because a few don’t care.

And if you think this is bad, just wait until a Democrat becomes President and the redistribution of wealth becomes the norm in this ex-Democracy. The estimated annual cost now, for state, local and federal, is nearly $400 billion dollars a year.

Trump Approves Budget & Declares A National Emergency At The Same Time

Reflections On Trump’s Current Chess Game by Mitch Santell

Congratulations, you have just witnessed something in America that no other President would have the guts to do. What is it? President Donald J. Trump signed the current budget to keep the U.S. Government open while at the same time declaring a National Emergency. In my view? This is an absolutely brilliant strategy. This is the long game. It will still be a wild ride, but at least the amusement park is also known as America will still be around so that the circus can continue. (I love my country, I don’t take what is happening lightly but I do realize, we have to keep our sense of humor).

The White House confirmed Thursday that President Donald Trump will declare a national emergency in an attempt to bypass Congress and get more funding for his Mexico border wall project.

Trump will also sign off on a congressional bill that would authorize a much smaller amount of wall money than the president had been demanding.
