Why President Trump Matters

Comments On Keeping Our Constitutional Republic

Living in a household with two politically active parents, both in local politics as well as national, I got to watch and experience what it means to be an American.

At ten years of age (in 1967) my Mom had me walking local precincts to make sure that people were signed up to vote.

Yes, we were Democrats, but we were moderates who came from the John F. Kennedy era.

The Democratic Party that you are watching, witnessing and cringing at in 2018 is not the party of John F. Kennedy nor is it even the party of Bill Clinton and Al Gore back in 1998.

SGT Report provides phenomenal videos on a daily basis on what is happening in America. Yes, I am a subscriber to the channel, and if you can subscribe or even make a small donation, this guy is spot on!

America, for the most part, is genuinely grateful to have a President who is looking out for America first.

As you watch the video, see if you can spot the deep-seated anger of Hillary Clinton who was the front-runner for the Democratic Party who also destroyed the Bernie Sanders Campaign.

The way the Democrats in Washington D.C. are acting I am ashamed and became a Republican and voted for Donald J. Trump. Want to know a secret? Most Trump supporters can’t even tell their family and friends they voted for Trump but at the end of the day, I prefer to live in the Constitutional Republic known as America thank you very much!

Ever since blogging became mainstream people have been debating about how long blog posts should be. A lot of bloggers may read one or two posts on it, and try to follow the rules – never revisiting the issue for as long as they blog. This can be a mistake.

For a definitive answer, the following are three things to consider when you’re trying to decide how long your blog posts should be.

“I Like Beer” Judge Kavanaugh

Still Cringing by Mitch Santell

Can I have my beer now_
Please Pray for Judge Kavanaugh and his family.

The most embarrassing events that I have ever watched in Washington D.C. happened over the past 30 days. As a Patriotic American, I am still cringing at what others outside the USA must be thinking.

Shall we play a game of she said he said? (51 seconds).

Dr. Ford has a fear of flying which she explains here: ( 2:03 Length).

Observing The Homeless Culture in America by Mitch Santell

Los Angeles in Downtown, not fun.

The American culture and experience is shifting big time. Here in Los Angeles, California, we have over 60,000+ homeless that are living on the street in downtown. Read this post, I think it will make you think.

GABFRAB

It’s hard to get laid. Even harder when you’re homeless. I live in a parking lot in Austin, Texas. It’s surrounded by baseball fields where little kids hit tee balls and bigger ones slug softballs. On Friday nights I watch the games. Next to my spot is a dumpster. It’d be fun to shit in there but my parking lot has a bathroom. For some this structure acts as a four walled crack chamber. Beside the toilet I find burnt foil and straws. On the outer wall of the stall there’s a huge scrawl of graffiti. It’s been painted over in beige but you can read what it says: HOWARD DEAN SUCKS IT FOR METH. Other bums, the true bums, stream in and out with beer, making way for the woods. At night gutter punks sit in the stands though I don’t know what they do. There’s also more car…

Hollywood & ‘Star Wars’ Rachael Butera

Hollywood Reflections by Mitch Santell

You have to admit that the current political show regarding Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Blasey Ford in Washington D.C. is an absolute nightmare.

Want to know how bad it is? Voice over actress Rachel Butera provided a perfect impression of Dr. Ford and deleted her Twitter account over it.

To me, America has become a bunch of grown up’s who act like 13-year-olds and can’t even make fun of themselves.

Here is what Variety’s Todd Spangler had to say about Rachael Butera.

Butera, before her Twitter account disappeared altogether, tried to backtrack and apologize for posting the Ford video.

“I was by no means mocking a rape victim I am 100% on Christine Blasy [sic] Ford’s side!” the 45-year-old voice actor wrote in a tweet Thursday. “I am just a vocal impressionist and decided to imitate her voice but it was a mistake. I apologize a and I believe ALl women.”

Star Wars Resistance” is set to debut on Disney Channel with a one-hour premiere on Sunday, Oct. 7. The series, set prior to the events of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” follows a young Resistance pilot (voiced by Christopher Sean) who’s enlisted to spy on the growing threat of the First Order.

Butera also voices White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in CBS’s “Murphy Brown” reboot. Her other credits include “Tammy’s Tiny Tea Time,” Amazon’s “The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle” and a guest appearance on “Family Guy.” She’s also a past winner of “The Howard Stern Show” impressions contest and appeared as a contestant on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” according to the bio on her website. Butera is repped by Abrams Artists Agency and CESD Talent.

She is not a sympathetic figure. She is not a confused, traumatized victim attempting to grapple with the fragmented memories of a past incident. The record clearly reveals that this to be nonsense. She is a malicious liar who has put herself at the service of malignant political clique for the purpose of undercutting the stated will and intentions of the people of this country.

It is a simple fact that Kavanaugh’s accusers on the committee are proven liars – Feinstein in withholding the letter in the first place (not to mention denying how it became public), Booker concerning his good friend T-Bone, along with his “Spartacus moment”, Blumenthal concerning his heroism in Vietnam. The stunning irony here is that Judge Kavanaugh is demonstrably more honest than any of his accusers.

This is the central truth of the Kavanaugh case. It must be hammered relentlessly, to the point where it can no longer be evaded. It must be repeated every time we’re told that “women don’t lie”. Every time someone flaunts a t-shirt reading “I Believe Her”. Every time we hear another obtuse blurt from Pelosi or Hirono. I must be repeated until it becomes the default, the meme that crowds everything else out: that the truth is not in Christine Blasey Ford, and that she is condemned by her own words.

These Ten Things Will Inspire You

This is an amazing blog post that inspired me so I want to inspire you the same way! Enjoy!

These Ten Things Will Inspire You

We all need a bit of inspiration in our lives.

Where there is inspiration, you can count on creativity being close by.

A painter might be inspired by the sight of a tree and as a result of their inspiration, they end up creating a painting of the tree.

It is as though inspiration opens the figurative door for creativity to enter.

So, I can clearly understand the reason why most bloggers need to feel that deep sense of inspiration before they go about putting together their blog posts.

Here are some things that inspire me (And, there is a high probability of some of those things inspiring you too).

After The Chaos Of A Crisis

Reflections After A 5150 Lockdown by Mitch Santell

Patients awaiting emergency care fill a hallway at Luis Razetti Hospital in Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela.
My Daughter Lived In A Place Like This for Nine Days and It Was Hell.

Today we will celebrate a significant achievement in our home. What is it? It has been 120 days since my daughter admitted herself on a 5150 lockdown. Why? My daughter is disabled but highly functioning with a cognitive disorder. She had a total meltdown, and I had to step in as her Father and save her.

Now that her mind is clear and she is off of all of the Anti-Depressants she is taking her life back to be as healthy as possible. It was a wild ride.

What did I learn from this crisis?

You get to learn who your friends are and you get to watch people run and hide because they don’t want to “Deal with the Chaos of the Crisis.”

Me?

God has somehow blessed me with DNA that I do well in a crisis. Do you? I’ll tell you my secret; I usually lose it after the crisis not during it. There are no species on this earth that is as adaptable as human beings.

All I can do is be here in this moment living in Gratitude, Feeling Blessed, and focusing on solutions, not problems.

From observing my daughter through personal experience, I learned that these drugs (the anti-depressants), make you want to kill yourself. Big Pharma anti-depressant drugs in my view are demonic because the pills mask the symptoms, but they fry the brain. In so many cases these drugs cause dementia (or the symptoms of dementia), and this is not good.

My daughter did not ask me to take her off the drugs, she begged me. If you have a child going through this, my number one insight is to listen to your child. It does not matter if they are 11 or 21, listen to what your son or daughter is telling you.

The drugs made my daughter worse, put her in a dark place, and I am forever grateful that I found a Psychiatric Medical Group here in South Orange County California that was willing to partner with me to get my daughter off of the medications.

The worst part of these medications is that while each one may work to mask the symptoms or bring some “temporary relief,” there are no long-term, short-term nor any study that tests multiple drugs taken in combination.

During my daughter’s lockdown for nine days, she ended up on four medications, and it was that combination that made my daughter want to kill herself.

All of her blood tests came back normal, and she does not have schizophrenia. My daughter made me a better human being, a better Father and as we all know, being a parent is not for the faint of heart.

Do not ever take advice from people who don’t have children. My parents (RIP) who happily married for 48 years used to complain to me all the time, even when I was a teenager how everyone has an opinion, but they are not in your shoes. You can listen, but you have to follow your own heart and your gut.

Now that there is light at the end of the tunnel and it’s not a train, now check out this clip on Vaccines. Do you see a pattern here? Have a blessed week.

Today I saw this blog posting and had placed some quotes from it here. Check this blog out as I am a subscriber to it.

On Challenges

People go through a lot. Don’t think that they don’t. All of us has to carry a certain pain, a certain tragedy. We all have our struggles, our fears, our losses. We all go through experiences that make it impossible to return to the person we used to be.

But most people don’t grow through what they go through.

Imagine being on a small boat. In the middle of the ocean. A storm comes. It badly damages the boat, but somehow you make it out of the storm alive. Now, the storm is gone. The sky is clear. No clouds. Despite being badly damaged, the boat is still afloat.

What do most people do?

Forget the storm even happened. Or prey that another one won’t ever come back. Or spend their time being afraid of another storm.

What almost no one does?

Fix the damn boat. Or build another one. A bigger and stronger one.

People waste their lives running away from what they fear, instead of using pain and fear to their advantage.

Challenges make us stronger. What doesn’t kill you…

Makes you wish it did.

But then it makes you stronger. Much stronger than you would have been if nothing bad hah happened.

But you’ve got to let it. You’ve got to learn. You’ve got to grow and accept responsibility for your life.

That is all.

Be Materialistic

Check out this magnificent blog posting. May it bring a smile to your face the way it did to mine.

Counterintuitive Advice

My counterintuitive advice is to…

be materialistic.

We recently moved and while packing I discovered that I have five nearly identical black windbreakers, four hammers, sixteen phone chargers, and six unopened packs of those multi-colored fancy file folders. What the heck was I planning to fancily file? And this material redundancy parade didn’t stop there. I own six packs of brand new black dress socks, over a dozen nearly identical dime-store reading glasses and three pizza paddles. Do I unknowingly own a Dominoes Pizza franchise? Well, based on my newly discovered brain disorder, maybe I do!

It turns out that I buy the exact same thing, the very thing, mind you, that I already own, and worse yet, haven’t even used, over and over and over again. Furthermore, I discovered that I’m not alone. As I told others about my disorder, I learned that a lot of people are afflicted…

Expect The Unexpected

Inspiration by Mitch Santell

Only Change Remains The Same. Right now in Washington D.C., I am witnessing a soft civil war as the hearings for Judge Brett Kavanaugh seem a bit out of control.

When I read this blog posting this morning, I had to reblog it because the only thing that remains constant in life is change.

May this posting inspire you as much as it does me.

Gareth Roberts

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from working in marketing for eight years, it’s that stuff happens.

Let’s face it.

No matter how prepared we are, we often end up thrown off guard.

When things happen differently to how we predicted.

When things don’t go to plan; even if they’re planned well.

It happens often in marketing.

I’ll explain.

Nearly 200 years ago, The Whitehouse was set on fire.

The British Army moved in on Washington DC, burning everything in sight.

Just before this attack, the British sieged the state of Maryland.

America’s last line of defense at Bladensburg was overthrown.

Paving the way for the British to invade the capital.

President James Madison had already left with the American Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

The War of 1812 started two years before as the Americans declared war on the British.

But they weren’t really prepared for war. They…

Netflix, Look Away In 5 Seconds

This just in by Mitch Santell

Many years ago a dear friend of mine in the movie business told me that Ben Stiller paid extra money not to have anyone look at him while on a movie set. While I thought this was a bit extreme, I think Netflix has set a whole new standard.

netflix yes

The new sexual harassment policy started by Netflix is a bit overboard. It all boils down to this when you are in production you have 5 seconds to look away; otherwise, a charge of “sexual harassment” can be filed against you by management.

Check out more here: http://bit.ly/2wOz3GC

charlie chaplin 1
Life Used To Be So Much Easier Back in the Day!

As part of an effort to further the goals of the #MeToo movement and enforce more stringent sexual harassment guidelines in the workplace, Netflix has independently implemented a series of feminism-inspired rules for some of their employees who work on shows like “Black Mirror” in the United Kingdom.

Among the most bizarre of these new rules is Netflix’s directive to film crew members that they should never “look at anyone for longer than five seconds.” This appears to be an attempt to stop all flirting in the workplace, and to be fair, it is quite hard to imagine how sexual harassment could take place at Netflix in the absence of normal social interactions where people look at each other while having conversations that last longer than five seconds.
