The Truth About The September 25th YouTube Change

Here is another reason to leave YouTube. From my experience I would suggest hosting your videos literally anywhere but YouTube.

Beginning on September 25th, 2018, YouTube is making two changes that affect every one that embeds videos on optin pages, sales pages or websites.

Please keep in mind, these changes only affect YouTube videos that are embedded on your web pages.

But, these changes can seriously degrade the user experience you want your visitors to have on your sales pages or websites.

Change #1 – Related Videos Will Always Be Shown

Typically, when YouTube videos are embedded on sales pages the rel parameter is set to to prevent related videos from being shown at the end of the video.

This is done to keep the sales page experience clean, and to avoid having competing videos show up in the related videos.
